 | Three Sea Songs - Ian Graham-JonesCello quartet, score and parts. Intermediate level. These three contrasting arrangements have been designed specifically for cello ensembles of Grade III to V sandard. Cellos I and II use up to 4th position with some use of the harmonic A, an octave above the open string. Cello II is deliberately the most straightforward part, both technically and rhythmicalle; whilst cello IV is only slightly more demanding. Each part is given some melodic interest, the lowar parts having their share of the melody while the upper cellos are biven more demanding accompaniments. Titles are : Bobby Shaftoe, Tom Bowling, What shall we do with the drunken sailor?
